Very beautiful there. I'm happy when I'm up again and you can pay a visit in a relaxed atmosphere.

Big disappointment! You are on holiday for the first day and look forward to delicious red cabbage from the region and are served dry stuff. The ribs were limp. The accompanying supplement was no longer there. If you think you get a discount here, you're wrong. A bigger salad was promised but not brought. Even when it was pointed out when paying, the bill was not reduced. It's a shame when you get up from the table hungry and then first have to get a portion of noodles from the Asian restaurant around the corner to be full.

We are fans of the legendary report and Axel Bulthaupt was here. On our vacation tour through Thuringia, we were also here on October 23, 2020 while passing through. And it was great. The main course Heimatlon's favorite from the stone oven was a blast. We both had Kathi's vegetarian fitness salad and the one with chicken. It was delicious. Only that the toast slice was forgotten with the vegetarian salad. Yo. Happens. Then there was homemade cake and coffee ... perfect. The service was very courteous and friendly. Especially: Here you pay attention to the hygiene regulations. Unfortunately Kathi wasn't there. Maybe next time. Great restaurant for sure. We'll be back when we're in Thuringia.

Unfortunately, very disappointed, wanted to give my 81 year old mother-in-law from Altersbach a surprise. Salad with rotten leaf, waited 70 minutes for main course, despite a reservation, and the service should be improved.

Very personally run and furnished café. Not only because Kati Wilhelm runs it ... The coffee tasted excellent and the cream puffs with ice cream, as well as the Swedish apple cake were also delicious. The other dishes sounded good. The service was really nice.

Very nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The food is all homemade and traditionally based on the region. The menu is a bit limited, but there is a good selection for vegetarians too. The price / performance ratio is very good and the service attentive and friendly. 1 star deduction for the somewhat small selection and the presentation of the menu (probably due to corona.) Unfortunately we cannot rate anything. There was no response to a reservation by email. No one could be reached by phone for several hours. Too bad.

Was that a great start to school! At the weekend we celebrated the school launch at the Heimatlon with around 25 very satisfied guests! We had delicious food with very friendly staff! We'd love to come back! 😊🍹🍨🥘

Visited on 08/24/2020 ... unfortunately more than disappointing. There was no response at all to our criticism via email. Courteous service nil ... a shame, expectations about the owner or not. We read the recessions and went with an open mind. Failure. Without food, 30km back to the holiday apartment in Oberhof

Very nice little bistro. The menu is very small but the food tastes excellent. The dishes are freshly prepared and it tastes great. The homemade lemonade top is recommended. Price performance ratio is right. Come back. A dog-friendly eatery.

My first attempt was on Monday evenings around 7:50 p.m. Most of the other restaurants in the village are closed on Mondays. According to the sign, the Heimatlon is open until 9 p.m. When I said that we would like to eat something, we were told that it will be closed soon and that there will be nothing left. Then the 2nd attempt on Thursday. As a precaution, reserve a table by telephone for 6 p.m. When asked if we could sit outside in the nice weather, they said that there was no service outside today. The dishes were then not delivered at the same time, but several minutes apart, and the quantity was a bit tight. The question whether everything was in order came very late, otherwise I would certainly have pointed out the totally burned surface of the ribs immediately. On the website it was advertised that an autograph card would be included with a main course. The waitress was not aware of this and there were no stocks. The table next to us didn't quite agree with the waitress either, which is why the waiter asked when he was paying whether he wouldn't get a tip.

We went here for coffee. Top class ice cream and pastries. And the crowning surprise, warm milk with coffee, almost a unique selling point in Central Germany. You can tell that Frau Wilhelm has just traveled widely, and with open eyes.

Always nice here, unfortunately I have not yet found the Goldkati. But next time I might be lucky

We ate the Heimatlon darling ... very tasty, friendly service, tasty beers and reasonable prices.

The visit was worth it. Kati Wilhelm comes to the table and asks if everyone is satisfied. The employee was very courteous. The food was very good. So all in one, you can only recommend the "Heimatlon".

Despite a reservation and a journey of over 300 km, we were not even informed that the restaurant would be closed that evening. In addition, there was not even a message left on the answering machine to alert customers. So we stood in front of closed doors. We also spoke on the answering machine, requesting a call back. We are still waiting for this call back.

We crowned an excursion to the Thuringian Forest with lunch in the Heimatlon. We felt very comfortable ... We like it when working with regional products .. Short distances fresh and high quality .. you can taste it

Guest with Kati Wilhelm. That's something else. Go straight. All new creations of food. Very tasty. An absolute pleasure. But really everything. From the appetizers to the main courses. You can not really decide. The ambience is very interesting. The conditions were all very friendly and endeavored. As soon as possible offered a better table, often asked for the right, just great. We recommend.
